Invisible Children is a youth-based non-profit organization that is campaigning against social injustices in Central Africa. It is through the use of film, creative outreach, and social action that IC advocates for the end of a 25-year rebel war in Central Africa that involves the use of child soldiers and the massacre of countless innocent victims. With the support they receive from thousands of young activists around the country, they are able to implement cutting edge programs on the ground that provide war-affected people with access to quality education, employment, rehabilitation and protection against violent armed groups. Their campaigns also have a positive effect on the youth of America, as they empower them to believe they can be agents of change in the world.
